What is scaling?
Scaling is the removal of hard tartar with ultrasound — above and below the gum line. Tartar is mineralised bacterial plaque that promotes bleeding gums, caries and periodontal disease. Regular scaling is the foundation of prevention.

Saturday hygiene appointments
We know it’s hard to find time during the week. That’s why, on select Saturdays, we now offer extra hygiene appointments — at both our clinics, in Kraków and Górna Wieś. The appointments are performed by our experienced dental hygienist.
Saturday slots cover hygiene treatment (scaling, air polishing, fluoridation) — this runs on a separate schedule from our regular weekday hours (see the opening hours on the clinic pages), so please book a Saturday slot in advance by phone.
